Narrative:WHILE THE STUDENT PLT WAS ON A X-COUNTRY FLT, THE ENG LOST POWER AFTER THE SUPERCHARGER FAILED. THE PLT STATED THAT HE WAS UNABLE TO MAINTAIN ALTITUDE & RPM; HE SUBSEQUENTLY MADE A FORCED LANDING IN A HEAVILY TIMBERED, MOUNTAINOUS AREA.
