Narrative:THE ENGINE QUIT AT ABOUT 500 FT AGL DURING THE INITIAL TAKEOFF CLIMB. THE PILOT MADE A FORCED LANDING IN A PLOWED FIELD AND THE MAIN GEAR SHEARED OFF. WATER WAS OBSERVED DRIPPING OUT OF THE GASCOLATOR AFTER THE ACCIDENT.
