Narrative:THE ACFT SUSTAINED SUBST DAMAGE AFTER UNCONTROLLED CONTACT WITH THE RWY DURING LANDING. INVESTIGATION REVEALED THAT THE LANDING WAS INADVERTENTLY ATTEMPTED AT A TIME WHEN THE WINDS SHIFTED TO A DIRECT X-WIND WITH GUSTS TO 35 KTS.
