Narrative:THE STUDENT PLT, PRACTICING LEVEL FLT AND TURNS DURING A POWER OFF DESCENT, ADVANCED THE THROTTLE WITHOUT ENGINE RESPONSE. THERE WAS NO SUITABLE LANDING AREA SO THE PLT ELECTED TO STALL THE ACFT INTO THE TREES.
