AFTER BECOMING AIRBORNE, HE ELECTED TO ABORT DUE TO A REPORTED POWER LOSS. THE ACFT HAD PASSED THE DEPARTURE END OF THE RWY & SETTLED IN A MARSHLAND. AN EXAM OF THE ENG REVEALED NO DISCREPANCIES.
