Narrative:THE ACFT COLLIDED WITH TREES DURING AN EMERGENCY LANDING AFTER THE COCKPIT FILLED WITH SMOKE. A MECHANIC WHO EXAMINED THE ACFT AFTER THE ACCIDENT REPORTED THAT EXHAUST GASES HAD BURNED THROUGH THE MUFFLER SHROUD & HAD BURNED THE IGNITION WIRES.
