Narrative:A Robinson R44 Raven II suffered an accident at Barcelona Port Authority Heliport (LEPB).
The pilot was carrying out the pre-flight checklist in order to carry out a tourist flight, and at the moment of applying power the aircraft rotated to the left, making between 2 and 3 turns and impacting the helipad. There were no passengers on board at the time.
As a result, the tail broke, and there was significant damage to the rotor and fuselage. No personal injuries occurred.
