Narrative:
North American AT-16 Harvard IIA: ex-USAAF 41-33967, to RAF as Harvard III EX994. Shipped to South Africa February 1944. Operated by the South African Air Force as 7528. Whilst being ferried from Brooklyn Air Station 15 February 1944, the engine failed completely without warning, resulting in a forced landing.

To No 3 Air Depot, Brooklyn, Cape Town; dismantled and crated. Returned to RAF as EX994, shipped to UK October 1946. Returned to US Government charge.Then transferred to Belgian Air Force/Belgische Luchtmacht in May 1947 as "H-46" .

Written off (destroyed) when Crashed in severe snow storm at Ans, Liège, Belgium 26 April 1950. Ans is a small Belgian municipality located in the Walloon province of Liège, Belgium at approximate Coordinates: 50°40′N 05°31′E
