Takeoff at 09:13 hrs for a Ramrod operation to Walcheren island, Zeeland.
Ramrod - bomber raid escorted by fighters aimed at destruction of a specific target in daylight.

The aircraft failed to return, it crashed into the North Sea with a complete loss of life. All seven are missing in action and are commemorated at the Runnymede Memorial:
