Narrative:The No. 6 (ST/R) Operational Training Unit CF-104 crashed on 5 March 1964, NW of CFB Cold Lake, Alberta, Canada, probably due to a bird strike. During low-level practice bombing run, ingested a piece of aircraft skin, engine failed, zoom climb but unable to relight, pilot - F/O A. Doran - ejected safely. Struck off charge 30 April 1964
