Hawker Hunter F.Mk.1 WT590: First flown 21/06/1954, delivered 22/07/1954 to the RAF as 5 MU Kemble. Sold RAF service was with 43 Squadron, RAF Leuchars, Fife
Written off (destroyed) 22/10/54: Struck the ground after the engine failed on the approach to RAF Leuchars, Fife. Pilot did not eject, and was killed on impact.
Wreckage struck off charge as Cat.5(C) 25/10/1954, at No.63 MU Edzell.
