Narrative:The second MS.885 Super Rallye to arrive in NZ was c/n 5394, and this became ZK-CGZ with Seabrook Fowlds on 21.5.1964.It then moved on to NZ Aerosales Ltd. and was operated by them at their Paraparaumu-based flying school. Ownership passed to R T Fullerton-Smith, Ongarue, as from 11.9.1967. Damaged at Taumaraunui February 1969 - photographic evidence shows possible collapse of the nose wheel leg on landing. Repaired and returned to service later in the same year.

Written off (damaged beyond repair) on 13.4.1974, when ZK-CGZ turned at low altitude after take off, stalled and dived into ground near Lake Rotoiti, Rotorua.
There may have been some thoughts of a rebuild, as the registration lingered on until 20.10.1988.
