Soon after the aircraft had descended to commence a spray run towards the sun, it collided with a line of overhead H.T. cables on the boundary of the field. The aircraft dived to the ground at a steep angle, nosed over, and came to rest inverted about 30 yds. inside the field. Fire, which broke out after collision with the H.T. cables, completely destroyed the aircraft.
Registration G-APUI cancelled by the UK Civil Aviation Authority 25 July 1963 as "destroyed"
