Narrative:THE PILOT OF THE POWERED GLIDER REPORTED THAT DURING AN APPROACH TO LAND AT WILLIAMSON, GEORGIA, THE AIRCRAFT ENCOUNTERED A DOWNDRAFT & LANDED HARD. THE LANDING GEAR WAS DAMAGED AS WELL AS THE PROPELLER, ENGINE COWLING & OIL COOLER.
