Narrative:
Following a 40-day investigation into the loss it was determinated that fuel contamination had been the cause of the crash. The aircraft's fuel tank being 95% full of water. This as a result of being fuelled from a cracked tank, which had allowed rainwater to seep in. Four airmen at the base were arrested for negligence.
