Narrative:Written off (damaged beyond repair) July 19 1979 when went missing on a flight between Lewiston, Maine, and Nashua, New Hampshire. Aircraft damage and injury index presumed, as no trace of the aircraft or the two persons on board (59 year-old pilot and his passenger) was ever found
Registration N181D belatedly cancelled by the FAA on August 13 2012 (over 33 years later) as "expired".
