Narrative:T-6D Texan 42-85947 (MSN 88-17728) 2131st Base Unit (Pilot School, Basic), Gunter Field, Montgomery, AL. Damaged landing at Gunter Field 23 November 1944. 2133rd Base Unit (Pilot School, Basic), Spence Field, Moultrie, GA. Damaged in collision on the ground with AT-6D 42-85939 at Spence Field 19 October 1945. Damaged when ground looped at Spence Field 8 November 1945. 2225th Base Unit, Moody Field, Valdosta, GA. Crash landed at Moody Field 20 February 1946.
To 6148th Tactical Control Squadron, 6147th Tactical Control Group, Fifth Air Force, Pyeongtaek AB (K-6), South Korea.
Written off (damaged beyond repair) in a combat mission: Hit by enemy fire, crashed and burned in friendly territory near Chigyong-dong, Cheorwon County, South Korea 13 October 1951. Crew of 2 wounded but rescued.
