Narrative:
A77-11 (ex-RAF Meteor F.8 WH259). No RAF service; notified as "awaiting collection" 20/09/51. Delivered to the RAF at 29 MU High Ercall 21/09/51.

Stored until delivered 17/12/51 to the RAAF. Served in Korea with 77 Squadron, RAAF. Took off from Kimpo, South Korea, to perform a rocket interdiction strike against troop concentrations and a supply area.

According to the Squadron Operations Record Book:
"Meteor aircraft, A77-11, Pilot, A34193 Sgt Gavin Michael Collins,was caught in the jet wash of the leading aircraft and crashed on the overrun of the Southern end of the strip. The pilot received minor injuries and the aircraft was badly damaged and write off".

Struck off charge and broken up 25/08/53 as spares and scrap.
